Dr. Curtis Anderson is a board-certified physician offering patients some of the most groundbreaking, minimally invasive treatments for a variety of medical conditions. He is the founder of Florida Endovascular and Interventional.
Dr. Anderson received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University. He went on to receive his medical degree and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Miami. Dr. Anderson completed both his residency and fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Virginia Medical Center (UVA).
He is board certified in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Anderson has extensive training and experience in the use of advanced, in-office methods to treat:
- Peripheral arterial disease
- Advanced symptoms of vascular disease, including limb salvage procedures
- Abdominal and thoracic aneurysms
- Hepatobiliary disorders
- Cancer
- Enlarged prostate
- Uterine fibroids
During his residency training, Dr. Anderson contributed to the development and evaluation of imaging devices that could be used to better understand vascular disease. He was noted for being the first to perform a prostate embolization to treat an enlarged prostate.
Dr. Anderson has been honored for his achievements in the field of interventional radiology. He publishes extensively and has presented at conferences around the country.
He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), and American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Anderson is a native of South Florida.
